A story of smile-power in action is from Julissa, a student who said that a friend had given her a smile when she was feeling sad. Julissa put it in her phone case as a happy reminder. She was excited to take it out of her phone case and show it to us. The Smile lives on and continues to make a difference.

The story behind Take A Smile: How did this campaign begin?
This project came about when a very creative student, Cristelle Medrano, came up with her own version of an interactive Mirror Message. When she turned it in, she said “It’s a little bit different.” Indeed, it is!
Her message is interactive and is making people happy! We have to keep replacing the posters because all the smiles are making people happy.
Now people all over school are exchanging smiles and it is making a difference!
